VISIT
Power Plant is located directly across the street from a valet parking garage, the Old City Parkmonium (vouchers for reduced price parking – $11/day – are available inside the venue) and within walking distance to a number of fine hotels for out-of-town visitors.
Power Plant is located on the fully air-conditioned 3rd floor. There is no elevator and it is not ADA compliant. The event space is accessible only via the staircases.
While we will not have any food vendors inside, Philadelphia's Old City neighborhood hosts a vibrant array of restaurants and cafes for every taste and every budget.
Essentia has generously donated water to keep guests hydrated. Alcohol is not permitted on the premises.

Located in Old City’s gallery district, less than two blocks north of PAWS, Power Plant Productions is one of the most unique venues in Philadelphia. Urban, unconventional, interesting and inspiring, the studio occupies the former Wilbur Chocolate Factory with its historic and iconic smokestack, right by the Ben Franklin Bridge.
The building retains all of the industrial feel from this early 1900’s power plant, with its steel beams, 34 feet of industrial windows, diagonal hardwood floors,
25-foot ceiling, and exposed brick walls.
